Jim Bottomley is an entrepreneur, management consultant, futurist and professional speaker.

ylm.ca). He has previously owned and sold training and financial services enterprises, and founded an entrepreneurship training company utilizing his methods.
Jim’s consulting work includes facilitating strategic plans and conducting work redesign projects. He has delivered leadership and sales training for many organizations, both private and public.
For communities and regions, Jim has helped cities and regional networks develop partnerships that galvanize support. Through experiences guiding his own technical companies, Jim shows that human needs should drive planning, not the technology itself.
Jim is a graduate of the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and lives near Victoria, BC. He and his wife Deb recently moved from Jasper, Alberta, where they operated and sold Elysion Florals & Gifts, a destination retail store. Jim enjoys wilderness exploration, photography, hockey and writing.
